“AAPNA Annual Day 2022 – Magic In Goa!”
AAPNA Infotech celebrated its 15th Annual Day in Goa in April 2022 with resounding success. Aptly titled “Magic In Goa”, it was a two day event and the venue was the “Baywatch Resorts”.
The teams were greeted by Abhijit Roy and Sanghamitra Roy followed by the team building games hosted by Mr Naresh Vij and Ms Valerie Chatterji. In the evening team gathered by the pool side party at the resort.
The main day started with some interesting ice-breaker games and unveiling of AAPNA mascots – Ekam & Sunya – symbolizing the female and male commandos.
This was followed by the presentations of leadership team to showcase their teams’ achievements, successes, and plans for the coming years.
This year almost every AAPNAite received some form of recognition, through a large list of award categories, including performance, loyalty, talent, teamwork, and a lot more.
The top awards of MS Dhoni @ AAPNA and the Transformer @ AAPNA (EOY) went to Hardik Shah, and Vineet Tyagi, respectively.
To everyone’s surprise, as the ceremony was coming to an end two special awards were announced by our Leadership Team – Pearl of Excellence to Sanghamitra Roy aka Rakhi for her leadership of the HR team and to – Abhijit Roy, for being a Mentor of Mentors to all AAPNAites! As Abhijit and Rakhi received their awards, they received a standing ovation of over five minutes – yes, a full 5 minutes!
The action shifted to the informal part of the day – cultural programmes and skits prepared by various teams. The Durgapur team received the maximum accolades and appreciation and won the competition for presenting the unity and diversity of AAPNA culture.
In the evening, the team came in their best “beach-wear” to head over to the beach party. A big thanks to Abhijit Roy for arranging the fire and neon-light dances by Russian artists, and to our ever-caring HR Team for the live DJ and music and scrumptious food and drinks flowing all round.
With the two-day event wrapping up, the time had finally come for AAPNAites to bid goodbye to Goa and to travel back to their respective hometowns. It was truly an event of magical proportions – which connected one and all – and reconfirmed for everyone how truly lovely AAPNA is as an organization!
